Abstract

Islam and Christianity have both played significant roles in shaping the beliefs and practices of their followers. In Islam, the teachings of the Quran and Hadith have been meticulously preserved by the Prophet Muhammad, his companions, and subsequent scholars. Their dedication to preserving the authenticity of these texts has laid the foundation for new sciences and arts based on truth and honesty. As a result, the Muslim Ummah today agrees on the original form of the Quran and Hadith. Non-Muslim scholars may have objections, but these objections are not widely accepted by those who value truth and impartiality. On the other hand, Christianity's preservation of narrations regarding Jesus, peace be upon him, is not as clear-cut. The sayings and actions of Jesus were not recorded contemporaneously, leading to discrepancies and contradictions in later oral traditions. Historians have been left to ponder whether the historical existence of Jesus was accurately the integrity of their teachings for future generations. Ultimately, the efforts of those who strive for truth and honesty in preserving religious teachings are essential in maintaining the authenticity and relevance of these beliefs in today's world portrayed or if it was embellished by storytellers over time. This contrast highlights the importance of preserving and critically analyzing religious texts to ensure.
