A comparative review of Tafsir Tafihim- ul-Qur'an and Tafsir Zalal- ul-Qur'an

Abstract

Allah Ta'ala revealed the Holy Qur'an for the growth and guidance of man and placed in it all the systems of life and servitude.  While the secret of the progress of any nation lies in following the Quranic teachings and its wise order. The Holy Qur'an contains all the components and elements for the welfare of mankind. It is a self-evident matter that compliance with the Quranic teachings is possible only after understanding the Quran. "Tafheem al-Qur'an by Maulana Maududi and Tafsir zilal ul-Qur'an by Syed Muhammad Qutb" are also two of the sources of understanding the Qur'an, in which the authors, alihamar-rahma, convey the message of the Qur'an to the people by making it easy to understand.
